MAINTENANCE AND USE INSTRUCTIONS FOR CERAMIC PRODUCTS

1.HEAT SETTINGS

A very important detail about ceramic coating is that there is no need to turn the heat up all the way when cooking food. The best results are achieved by cooking food at a lower heat than you might normally be used to with other materials. Overheating most often occurs when fats become too hot. If the oil becomes too hot, it can burn onto the non-stick coating. For this reason, the coating can deteriorate faster and the release effect will be reduced. If food starts to stick to the coating, it is a sign that the release effect has been affected because the frying pan has been overheated. This is not a defect in the product, but occurs when using too high a heat.

2. USE OF FAT

We always recommend using a little fat if the food does not already contain fat.

3. PROLONG LIFE

To ensure a longer life for your pots/pans, it is recommended that you avoid using metal utensils or sharp objects. Doing so can cause small cuts in the coating, where food and oil can become trapped over time. Wooden, silicone and nylon utensils are all materials that we recommend using on the ceramic coating for the best long-term results.

4. CLEANING AND STORAGE

It is recommended that you let the pot/pan cool down completely before washing to avoid thermal shock. Although you can put the products in the dishwasher, this is not recommended. When using a dishwasher, stains may appear on the bottom as dishwasher detergents attack aluminium. This causes discoloration of the coating over time. We recommend washing by hand with warm soapy water and a soft sponge to ensure that the interior is spotless before storage. When storing, we recommend using protective sheets between pots and pans to minimise wear.
